I train your puppy (without you) and we have transfer sessions
Puppy Walk & Train Sessions
If you’re new to working with me, Puppy Walk & Train sessions are designed to support young dogs who are learning how to navigate the world. These sessions combine structured training with real-life experiences, helping your puppy build good habits from the start in a calm, consistent way.
These sessions are especially helpful if you want professional, hands-on support to guide your puppy through early learning stages outside of the home.

Your Starting Point: Puppy Jump Start Session
Before we begin Walk & Train sessions, we’ll start with a Puppy Jump Start consultation.
In this session, we will:
Carry out a full assessment of your puppy’s behaviour and development
Discuss your goals and what you want life with your puppy to look like
Create a clear, age-appropriate training plan tailored to your puppy’s needs
This ensures every Walk & Train session is structured, supportive, and suitable for your puppy’s stage of learning.
How It Works
During a Puppy Walk & Train session, I will:
Collect your puppy from your home and take them on a local walk (St Albans or Harpenden)
Follow a structured training plan based on your consultation
Introduce and reinforce key foundation cues such as recall, focus, and loose lead walking
Help your puppy build confidence in real-world environments
Gradually expose them to everyday distractions like other dogs, people, and wildlife in a controlled way
Identify early triggers or overwhelm and support you in managing them calmly and effectively
If your puppy is unsure about new people entering the home, we’ll plan the safest and most comfortable approach for pick-up.
Who It’s For
New puppy owners who want early, professional guidance
Puppies who need help learning calm behaviour in real-world environments
Owners who want consistency and confidence from the very beginning
Early consistency is key to preventing future behaviour issues, which is why ongoing guidance and handover support are included.
